- I was awarded the "Prof. G J Nicholson Power Research Fellowship" at the School, a happy moment indeed.
- Writing some papers
I have been busy preparing some publications that are result of my master's thesis. These will be published (if accepted) in the IEEE PES General Meeting in July, Detroit. The other one is for North American Power Symposium in Boston later in August. - Also in pipeline are some extension to my colleagues' work in modal estimation; for which I am trying to obtain some theoritical results in terms of central moments mode frequency and damping coefficient.
- All this is happening while I am doing some litrature review and small experiments on IIR lattice filters to estimate modes of the power system!! interesting uh!! well, if you think so, then you should listen to me talking about H_2 spaces, etc etc.
- Last but not the least, PhD prelims are to be passed;
failure is not an option here!!
