As of yet, I have not decided upon which degree in which field I want to go into. I do, however, have a few ideas about what I might want to peruse. I have always had a strong passion for music. I have taken choir classes every year from third grade leading up to this year in which I am in the Bel Canto Women’s Choir here at the University. However, I do not have the training and foundation for most of the hardcore music classes here at the school. If my consideration to major in vocal music is something I want to achieve, I would have to put in many hours of hard work and dedication.
Psychology and Philosophy are also two courses I have considered a degree in. There aren’t, however, very many jobs which a major in philosophy can go on to, unless you want to write, or teach. Psychology is up there in my list of options though; I find the creative sciences very intriguing. I love to learn about how the mind works, and I often think that philosophy and psychology go hand in hand. Another reason I love psychology is a based on a vigilant attempt to figure out the metropolis of beliefs and scramble of thoughts and unbalanced emotions that is my mind.
